Chanel Saunders is a proud native of Chicago, Illinois. She received her B.S. in Community Health from the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign) and M.S. in Health Administration from the University of St. Francis. It was with BlueCross BlueShield of Illinois where she began her career in finance. After serving with that organization for eight amazing years, she relocated to Atlanta, Georgia in 2015. In the Peach State, she continued her career in healthcare finance but found herself seeking a change post-pandemic. In 2021, she joined Georgia Institute of Technology. She is happy to be one of the newest members of the Office of Technology Licensing.
