Dr. Ali Asgar Yunus brings over a decade of expertise in life science R&D, technology transfer and business development, focusing on licensing of therapeutics, medical devices and other healthcare related technologies including software. Prior to joining Georgia Tech, Dr. Yunus led BD&L, and Competitive Intelligence at Reata Pharmaceuticals and managed IP portfolio and licensing transactions at University of North Texas and UT Southwestern Medical Center in Texas. 

Dr. Yunus holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Structural Biology from Cornell University and a B.Tech. in Biotechnology and Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
